Giving Back Even When Your Heart Hurts

I’m back! And I’m so grateful to have this love filled community to return to. The last few months have been difficult for me personally. I have been and continue to heal from a really devastating heartbreak. I’m getting stronger each day..in large part due to the support that I receive from this community.

There were days that I really couldn’t see past my pain and I just wanted to push the world away. But then I’d remember my commitment to myself and to this community and I would focus on my intention of changing the world through service and that would guide my heart to post each and every day.

That small piece of consistency kept me going. Visiting my feed briefly each day to see all of the good that you all were up to reminded me of all of the good in the world. It’s funny how a gesture that seems so small can actually be life affirming.

So I am sending a great big thank you out to each and every one of you. Thank you for shining your lights so brightly that I was able to find my own again in the dark.

I’m looking forward to the next few months as I explore new ways to connect with organizations, foster speaking engagements, work on e-Books and more. I am ready to delve into more and more of my purpose….to Give Back and be a beneficial presence on the planet. And I’m ridiculously happy that you are all coming along for the ride.

UPDATE #1:

-As of this Wednesday, June 27th, I am starting a new segment on the Instagram page called “Why I Give Back Wednesdays”. Each week, I will highlight a new person as they tell us why they Give Back. UPDATE #2: The Giving Back With Gail Worldwide TV show hit a bit of a snag after my first amazing episode. The editing help that I was expecting fell through and the organization that I asked to be the second guest said no..taking a bit of the wind out of my sails. I’m now getting back into the production. I am looking for an animator for the opening and I’ll edit the first episode myself.
