Anniversary Announcement: Giving Back With Gail Turns 2!
I started Giving Back with Gail two years ago and I had no idea where it would go. You see I just kept getting this pull to create a community that worked together to change the world and inspire others to do the same. I had no idea if it would resonate with people or not. I just created the page and posted in earnest every single day. Before long, a organic community emerged that became so much more than I ever could have imagined.
Living a life of purpose is exhilarating, scary, exciting, joy filled and confusing all at the same time. I know that many of you reading this can relate. I am here to Give Back and be a beneficial presence on the planet.
Through this wonderful community, I have connected with so many like minded people who want to help change the world. My connections with them have lead to connections with other wonderful organizations...ultimately sewing our community into a tapestry of good. We are now almost 1600 community members strong. This knowledge brings me joy every day.
In two years, I’ve grown GBWG from an Instagram page to a website, a Facebook page, a YouTube channel and soon to be a Television Show. I’m so excited for all of the good ahead.
I truly believe that together we can change the world through service. I am so excited to continue in this Purpose.
So I’ve looked back….now let’s look forward to what’s next for Giving Back With Gail. Time to Reflect, Celebrate and Set Intentions for the Year Ahead:
*Give Back/Volunteer as much as I can
*Arranging more speaking engagements/interviews and the like
*Pitching the TV Show to producers/networks
*Add GBWG merchandise to the website
*Adding a Social Media Intern to help with the platforms
*Connecting with more of my IG community directly and Give Back together
*Make more production connections to create more content for the website.
*Write my first E-Book to help with Volunteer Retention
Whew! This is going to be another exciting year. I’m so grateful to be sharing this journey with each and every one of you. If there’s anything on my list that you can help with, please don’t hesitate to contact me. I know how wonderfully connected and kind this Giving Back community can be.
